    Default Newcastle Burlesque?

HEy, new to the forum and I know next to nothing about Burlesque. I was at a Comic convention in Leeds this weekend just past and at the after-party there was a show on called 'Dr Sketchy'. Not knowling fuly what to expect, I went along and stopped a short performance by a Bam Bam Blue. I absolutely loved it, was really entertaining and she was an incredibly charismatic dancer.

I'd really enjoy seeing more around Newcastle, my hometown is just outside of Newcastle. The performance I saw was really short and I'd like to see and learn more about it. Are there any venues/nnights in Newcastle that anyone would recommend? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Hi!

Glad you want to see more! I'm based in Newcastle but rarely perform in the region. HOWEVER! This Saturday there's a burlesque show at The People's Theatre and I'll be performing alongside my partner as Frayed Knot Circus.

In addition to the above, Etrois (Welcome to Facebook) will be putting on their "Talented Teasers" show on the 1st of December - it's at the Cluny and it starts at 8.

It was absolutely great last year.

That said, all sitting tickets have been sold for this year's, and I don't know if there are any standing ones left.
