I can not get any events to post on the uk events page at the moment perhaps it's me I don't know.

So I am posting the announment here until someone (James?) can sort it out for me.




The Silk Stocking Striptease Show - the newest Burlesque sensation to hit the centre of Birmingham.

On Sunday 6th April at the Flapper we shall open the doors at 7:30pm to a whole new event. Come along and join in at the beginning of a new chapter in the evolution of Burlesque. Show starts at 8:30pm approx.

Featuring the performances of:

Emerald Ace - the Pitty Patt Club veteran

Heather Sweet - the boobs of Burnley

Kitten Kapers - classic with a twist

Cherry Fox - long legged sex kitten

Delilah Dufoe - tassel twirler extraordinare

The Bone Shakers - an up and coming 3 piece troupe

Darkteaser - beautiful newcomer

and handling the singing duties for the night:

Angel LaVey - leaving Britney at home

and not forgetting our compere for the evening

Dr. Agamemnon When - the Gin soaked lush

The price of entry is a snip at only £5 - payable on the door.We have limited seating which will be on a first come first served basis.

Hi Angel, can you pm me about this on Tuesday when I get back from Cannes. I've just been informed that the 3G modem I bought last week for the purpose of using in Cannes doesn't actually work in France.

I am using my blackberry to post this message at a cost of about a zillion pounds per megabyte.

And I have good news for the performers - Lulu Spanx, the promoter for The Cherry Pop Peep Show, will be attending our show.

I really wanted to come to this, being friends with the 'gin soaked lush' and the lovely Nurse When, and coz its a sunday i cant!
I also really wanted to see Angel perform as i have not had that pleasure as yet!!!

Can I be confused? The promoter behind the London Burlesque Fest 2008 has told confirmed himself as a guest to our show. I have Chaz Royle as a confirmed guest on Facebok for the Silk Stocking Striptease Show on the 6th of April, the final day of his own major promotion!

Perhaps he's finally seen the showreels of the talent he's booked for the 6th, and decided that our show will be stronger!

Angel has now redone the Silk Stocking Striptease Show MySpace page. We would like your honest feedback on the layout, design and colour.

I'd also like to thank the person responsible for getting the MoB Advert graphics done for the Silk Stocking Striptease Show - you know who you are, I just don't want you getting flooded with requests to do it for everyone else.

Sorry guys, that colour scheme is seriously headache inducing! Try darkening the blue (#000033) and making the pink a much lighter pastel shade (#FFCCCC) and it should work out.

To do this, simply type the colour codes I put into the html instead of where you put the colour names.

I'm just happy I'll now be able to attend this ^_^ Now let's just hope it doesn't sell out before I get there ...
