Thread: Slippery Belle Manchester 30/3/08- accomodation??

I'm trying to get myself down to the Slippery Belle event in Manchester at the end of this month, I've managed to find a return train ticket for £33 which is a bargain but I've no idea where to book that's fairly cheap to stay and/or close-ish to the venue.

Any suggestions?

I'm performing at this one! The venue is very central so I guess any hotels nearby will be quite expensive, the cheapest option is the Travelodge which isn't too far, and still central, I stayed there last year when I took my boyfriend to the Good Ship Burlesque night-anyone know what happened to that by the way?

There are quite a few hotels close to the venue.
It's proably best to check out some prices online. x x x x

travel lodges, premier inns, theres always hostels as well.

Thanks everyone, did a google search thingy on lastminute.com and found some Britannia hotel dead in the centre for £54 for a twin room for me and my friend, not bad really cos I'll save on taxis.

I'm only staying over cos I can't drive and there's no late train back to Hull.

Still going to keep looking for somewhere cheaper but I think I'll have to book that one in the end!

Checkout the Britannia Hotel, its just round the corner,like one minute away! Nice to stay in and pretty cheap - they have lots of really good offers. It's where we stay everytime we go to the Slippery Belle - in fact my avatar pic was taken there! xx
