Liverpool Hen Do Hell - Help Required
Hello Lovelies!
I am getting married at the end of October and arranged my Hen Do in Liverpool.
Plan was to do a 50's Hair and makeup Workshop (all booked), off to Zeligs for some food and then head to Monique's Cabaret Club for a fun and glamourous evening!!
However, Moniques are now running a Club Night on a Saturday and well that has kinds trashed my whole Hen Do vision.
Is anyone aware of any alternative burlesque or cabaret nights running in or around Liverpool on October 15th?
I'm fairly sure if we cancel the workshop I will lose the deposit so i'm restricted to Liverpool!
Any Suggestions and Help Welcomed xxxWARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

check out Manchester and Chester both are a easy quick train ride or you could all chip in for a Limo (would make the travel a little more fun) depending on how many of you their are it would not be that expensive? failing that you could do a weekend hen-do and have a stop at both cities Liverpool and Manchester? I do hope you managed to find a night out at a burlesque event.

Is there anyway you could change the date of the hendo without loosing your deposit? There are a few regular events both in liverpool and manchester you could plan to attend. For example, Crimson Whip in Liverpool is planned for last monday of every month (id check to confirm for definite) so you could arrange to do it all on 26th September for example? Theres also The Canary Cage in Liverpool, or The Martini Lounge which offers dinner with your show too (which i think has recently moved to Zeligs)? x

Yes, it's a shame that's happened! oooh, if you were into coming to Swansea we could do you a workshop (we hire in professional vintage make up artists!), plus we have a Bluestocking Lounge show on later that night... XX

Hi honey all the events about I can agree with. I also run a burlesque class for hen parties if you would like to get in touch. I don't do hair and make up but I know a few ladies from the pamper box who would be able to help you out.

That's a shame... and they are not easy things to plan and please everyone! A burlesque workshop could be fun. It's gone through my mind as I am getting married next year, sadly I'm too skint to have any kind of party!
Susie Von Garter does hen nights, in any town, she finds the venue and books a professional tog and really makes it a special night. I know lots of other people do it too, but I cahtted to hera bout it recently and it sounded fab.
There is also a night called the Crimson Whip in liverpool now but not sure what nights. Phoenix Snow and Frank run it.
I hope you manage to have a great night, whatever you end up doing. X

Your all so wonderful!! Will look at figures n see if we can do a double evening with potentially a night in Manchester on the Friday!
Diva it's the Pamper Box girls i'm having the workshop with - i cannot wait - they are so busy though and it was one of the few dates they have !! Will investigate the recommended nights and keep my fingers crossed for a night to appear? Unfortunately because of the varied ages of the party a Burly Workshop wouldnt work - but majority are looking forward to the night!!
So exciting . Thanks again girlies - it is truly appreciated xx
