Thread: My first show coming up....

Hi All!

Got my first performance coming up on the 5th June! I'm doing the tournament of tease and can't wait!

Is anyone else going to that, or been to it and also advise for a first time performance, maybe a couple of stiff drinks before hand? ;-)

I'm so excited and can see it being very addictive! As some of you may or may not know i've been on here many a time worrying about my weight and always worried about performing because i'm not skinny at all. But i've got my confidence back and am ready to show off my body... i hope! :-)

No no NO! Absolutely not! That will affect your balance, your reflexes, and your timing, which is exactly what you don't want to happen first time on stage!

However, if you can handle it (unlike me >_<), ONE drink to calm the nerves is often advised ^_^

I never ever drink a drop of alcohol before I go on stage. I think little piece of chocolate works wonders though!

One drink is good for me but now I can do it with out. Take a robe as the changing room is far away from the stage. Its a lovely crowd and very supportive.
