Thread: Photographer looking to take images at a burlesque event...

hiya,


As some of you will be aware, im currently a final year BA Fine Art student who is writingh my dissertation on burlesque, performance and the female body and im looking for some burlesque nights that would allow me to take some images to go into my theoretical research and studio practice.

Im not having much luck with nights at the moment, with most saying they have one photographer who are very fussy about anyone else taking images.

if you could help out let me know, it would be greatly appreciated!

There is the 'Tipping The Velvet' burlesque party this Saturday in London.

Let me know if you would be interested to come.

I run a Birminghm based Burleque event but sadly we have two photographers for our next show. I could offer you a photographer slot for our next full show in September, although I might have an opportunity for you during August for an Album Launch which also has some Burlesque in the line-up. Please PM me for further discussion.

Hi Kittie!

I run a burlesque night in Torquay which mat sound like a million miles away from you but is only a 2hour train ride - our next one is Friday 11th July and we have bands and performers - this time it's gonna be Chris Cross and Miss Zara Ann plus a 5 piece troupe called Naughty Toes and Muffin Tops. If you're interested get in touch - it's no problem for you to stay overnight and you'd probably get some great images!
