Thread: Emergency Help Needed

im part of burlesque group there are 4 of us and 2 of us our new.

weve been hired to do a event on saturday. its a big event Miss Sparkel and can lead on to 2 others. i put loads of efforts in and taught the new girls but now today the new girls dont want to do it.

its too late for the organiser to get new girls or for me to get unexperienced ones.
its doing a group set and then just dollying at the side of a fashion show but we get a made to measure costume and photos for payment.

i am so let down. i put so much effort in and have bourght loads of things for this gig and its the grouops name that will be associated badly now not the 2 girls involved.
now its down to me to fix it and i dont know what to do.

why cant i find people who love burlesque and want to do it, have enthusiasm for coming up with theyre own routines and looking forward to a proformance.

its in manchester and involves 1 groupe set i can teach u, i am willing to come to u the daty before and meet up earlier on the saturday. and then just free style at the side of a runway. if anyone is interested i beg u to let me know...

I see that you're based in Bolton... Where is the show on Saturday? And where would you need potential performers to get to in order to rehearse on Friday/Saturday?

Does your troupe/group have a website/MySpace/Facebook?

well the gig is on saturday in manchester, the park near canal street and im willing to met up in the morning to sort stuff out.
as far as practice tomorrow goes, i will meet someone depending on distance but im willing to travel to meet and things.
