Thread: My First Public Performance!! ^_^

Hi Everyone!

I'm so sorry everyone for being away for so long, I have had rehearsals and concerts for my degree, not to mention exams, but they're over now, so I cab devote more time to this! Yay!

Anyways, I got some big news! I'm going to be giving my first public bellydance performance next month!!!! I will be performing at an Anime convention in Leicester, dressed up partially as the character below:



I'm going to be doing a 3 minute drum solo, and hopefully if it get's stuck up on youtube, I will let you all know! It'll be my first big step into your beautiful world everyone!

...........also, umm......I saw Ophelia Bitz on Derren Brown's "Trick or Treat" TV series and I think she's really nice....ops: I'd really like to say hi to her if she's around *blushes*ops:

Oh wow - is it Amecon? I really wanted to go to that but was a little too late to get tickets ... I'll be ready next year I tell you! Plus it gives me a little more time to put costumes together ^_^ Good luck with the performance, let us know how it goes (and the convention ...)!

Yes Fleur, it is Amecon! Have you been in the past? This will be my first time, but if you're going next year, I'm planning on doing one of Jakotsu from Inuyasha, and balancing a sword on my head! ^_^

Le sigh, no I have never been to any conventions, and I plan to before I get too old that running around in cosplay is deemed unseemly at that age ... This year I was too late for both Amecon and the Discworld convention - next year I plan on doing both! And I shall be dragging the man as well, and making him do cosplay - at both (not that he'd complain much ^_^).

Don't know Inuyasha I'm afraid, my anime knowledge is fairly new and limited - but I'm sure I shall seek it out before next August!
