    Default Planning event...advice...

I plan a fair few events for the company I work for but I have just started planning my first EVER burlesque event/evening.

What I really want is some insider knowledge really from performers. I have only recently clambered back onto the stage so have some ideas of what works and what doesn't. But it would be great to hear from other artistes about their bug bears about events and what they think works well.

I have narrowed it down to four venues but would like to check them off in accordance with your recommendations.

    Love

    Khandie

PS I love you all! In a highly professional though mildly inappropriate manner. x

I think you should charge the performers £250 each to perform.

    Hi honey
good luck with this as I think promoting is a tough job.
For me a good changing room with a mirror, a lovely stage person you no is not going to get drunk and forget everything, snacks and water back stage really helps especial if you are traveling and maybe not had time to eat. Getting in early enough so you can check performance space/stage, chat to DJ, Lighting ect, but not asking performers to be there for hours just hanging around.
Is that the kind of thing you wanted?
    Hugs
