Looking to start a regular caberet night
Me and my partner are going to start a monthly cabaret night in Preston in the new year. We were thinking of being eclectic with our acts, having maybe a burlesque performance, a magician, a cabaret singer and a local rock band followed by a DJ playing all sorts, from goth to musicals. My boyfriend is a talented and experienced MC through presenting various rock and comedy nights as well as special events such as weddings, and we have a few friends who are things such as comedians and magicians, but does anyone have any tips for us? We have only ever put on rock band nights before and most of our contacts are on the local band scene.
