Birmingham Bounce Burlesque fest!!!
With a hugely heavy heart I'm sad to announce we are pulling the festival, with the financial climate the way it is we just cant take the risk, I am in the process of contacting everyone that is involved and beleive me I feel pretty shitty.

Hi Al!
Very sad to hear about this, but with the way things are at the moment I do not blame you at all for the decision you have made.
Lets hope that the Festival appears one day in the future, when it does I'll be there with big brass bells on!

Hi honey
sorry to hear this but I think you are doing the right thing. So many business and companies that have been established for a long time are going under. Its a very scary time for all of us.

Angel LaVey and I are gutted but we understand where you are coming from.
Maybe your dream of the BBiBF can be resurrected when the recession is over.

Oh Al, what a shame

Again, it really is a scary time to try and promote something; our own mini circus event has also been canceled - its just not the right time to try and find funding.
You're definitely doing the right thing and lets hope we can all wade through this eventually.

That is indeed terrible news

Both Rufus and I understand completely were you are coming from; the business of show can be a financial nightmare. We are thinking of you and hope that the festival will find it's feet again very soon.
All the best

Hey Al, I don't blame you for taking this decision. We all want this event to be pure joy, as it should be, not a great big strain on two of the finest and hardest working people in UK burlesque.
We'll just have to schedule an almighty piss up instead - in which case maybe I'll end up stripping anyway.
See you soon, my friend,
love Leyla. xx
