    Default Just testing the water..

I'm thinking about planning a burlesque event in whatcroft, cheshire (between manchester and Chester) called "Burlesque in the Barn".

we often have "Beer in the barn" which is essentially some bands, some drink and some good food, so I thought this might just make things slightly more interesting.

Just wondering if anybody would be interested in participating really and if we could have a chat about it all.

Your best bet is to repost this message in the Castings part of this website if you want talent for a show.

Running a good show is hard work but rewarding - good luck with your venture.

Don't tell me you've jacked it all in after one show! Reports from my spies were very positive about what you did.

I didn't say I'd jacked it in, oh no - plans are afoot to make it bigger and better! But we may have possibly hit a stumbling block, and even if we hadn't, it'd still be hard work!

Stumbling block - hmmm - maybe some of us MoB peeps can help you get past that block depending on what it is.

Good luck anyway - or break a nail if you're superstitious.

Nope, it's just possible time restrictions

Time is always an issue - we have a ruthless curfew, although the good news is our audience can actually get home if they aren't driving without spending a fortune on a taxi.

Oh, by the way, if anyone else reading this thread wants to know what show I'm talking about running then please visit the link in my signature for the Silk Stocking Striptease Show (24th January 2009 in Birmingham city centre, shameless plug).
