Thread: Burlesque in Bristol? (and anything fun really)

My sister's getting married in Bristol around the 18th of July so I'll be up there for a couple of weeks. She and her fiance are friends with lots of performancy people, so it'd be a good chance to meet new friends (maybe you know them - Drew and Mithi?).

It'll be my first time in Bristol and I'd like to know if there's any interesting burlesque stuff happening up there, especially around mid/end July? Or anything else of interest I should check out? My sister's studying illustration and she's always going on about all the arty things up there - I wanna check it out too!

I don't know specific details about the British burlesque scene but I've heard that it's crazy cool and full of dedicated people, so any way to experience this would be great really

Sporadic Burlesque nights in Bristol are Tuesday Laveau's Be More Burlesque, Venus Noir's Candy Carousel, Keda Breeze's Hoochie Coochie and i occassionally put on a night in nearby Bath (20 mins on the train) and there will possibly be one in July.
