Thread: hellllllo from sunny Spain

Hello, I have waited well too long to actually say hi as I have been viewing the forum with much intrest for some time now. My name is Caressa Chance [well for all intents and purposes] I will keep it breif for now. I am a dancer who has also acted and performed for many years, since about the age of six. Now 27 I am currently teaching dance and performing as a dancer aswell as working on a new burlesque inspired show to debut on the south coast of Spain next year. I suppose you would call my style of burlesque, neo burlesque. I incorporate a lot of dance into my pieces [which I have been working on, on and off for over a year] I have studied burlesque and the styles and genres all my life really, well as far back as I can remember and always longed to be involved in and perform this beautiful and diverse art form. I am obviously very much a novice compared to so many on here, which is probably why it has taken so long to say HI...
I am wondering if there are any other performers based in Spain who would like to come and perform their own acts in the show Im putting together [hopefully ready for March time] here on the costa del sol, this will be a big one off performance that should be able to get burlesque some good press here and I think if it goes well could open up repeat performances or oppourtunities here in Spain. Lets face it some more publicity could not hurt the burlesque scene here.
Im interested in discussing all ideas and would love to find a troup who will come here and perform too aswell as an act involving fire or other props.
There will be several people interested in doing bookings for the summer season coming to view this performance.
