Hello Ladies and Gents!

Well, after two highly successful shows this year, Lilly Loca's Vaudeville Cabaret is proud to announce 'The Wunderbar Spectacular!' which will be hosted at The Basement Theatre, Auckland, NZ on Friday 20th & Saturday 21st January.

We are pleased to announce the first two performers, plus a special announcement!

The first performer announcement for 'The Wunderbar Spectacular!' is of the sensational burlesque vixen, Venus Starr!

Introducing Australian bombshell "Miss Venus Starr"

An international starlet, Venus Starr is a renowned performance artist with over a decade of experience in the burlesque industry.

She has studied circus and trained extensively with the some of the best aerial circus & physical theatre trainers in the world aided by a mixed background in contemporary dance, modeling, jazz, gymnastics, Cabaret, theatre & make up.

Miss Venus Starr has headlined multiple festivals and events in New Zealand & Internationally. She has worked alongside Angie Pontani (reigning Queen of burlesque USA) and performed for many years at the World buskers festival winning people's choice awards for
Aerial work with Fuse Circus and she recently featured in 'Pin Up Perfection' magazine in the USA.

The second performer announcement for 'The Wunderbar Spectacular!' is of the talented actor, improviser and stand-up comedian, Mark Scott!

Mark Scott is an actor/ improvisor / stand up comedian / ex boxer and has, over the years, won awards in each of these categories to prove it. He has performed in over sixty theatre and comedy festivals internationally and last year won Best Actor in Auckland’s first Short and Sweet play competition. He’s worked on TV with Wayne Brady off “Who’s Line is it Anyway?” and would have become famous as the Moro Bar Man, but Australia bought the company and canned the NZ campaign. Now Mark gets to have laughs with people he hasn’t even met yet and this year got to play the role of a singing penis.

Hi - please can you ensure that when you announce the rest of the performers, you keep to this thread, rather than starting new threads each time you announce a performer like you did last time.

Better still, you could simply announce everyone in one go like everyone else does. That way our system doesn't think you're trying to bump the thread.

Sorry if it had been 'spamming' you - that wasn't my intention. I always release performer announcements (usually 1-2 a week) right up until the show tickers go on sale (the tease aspect you see?). I'll make sure I keep to this thread then.

Hi Lilly - it's just that we've implemented spam filters on the site which are supposed to ban robotic spammers and, whilst this works well in general, every so often it detects a false positive and they end up getting auto-banned as well. Keeping to the same thread will eliminate this possibility. Cheers

Our third performer announcement is none other than the voluptuous and filthy, Patty Hag!

Patty Hag is a character created by actor/director/play wright Patrick Graham. She..he.. uh... it? Shem.. yes, lets go with that. Shem is filthy, has one of the worst dress senses imaginable and always seems to be getting harassed or yelled at by the vivacious Lilly Loca.

Our fourth performer is Kozo Komatsubara; one of Auckland's youngest & fastest Jugglers!

Kozo Komatsubara has performed at many places such as Large Scale Bigtop Circus Productions, Stage Shows, Buskers Festivals, Street Festivals and Corporate Events.
His Las Vegas style Tempo Juggling Routine will leave you at the edge of your seat, He spins his clubs so fast that your eyes may not be able to keep up with the speed!

Our fifth performer announcement is of the shimmy shaking, Anastasia!

Shimmering snakecharmer and voluptuous vixen, meet our next guest. Captivating audiences all over the country with her hypnotic hips home to a thousand sparkles, anastasia of elektra bellydance will be returning to auckland from wellington, where she performs regularly as a local favourite. Former 1st place runner up miss burlesque nz and one of the countrys most popular and diverse bellydancers, anastasia never leaves an audience unsatisfied!

The sixth performer announcement is none other than Creator, MC & Producer for 'Lilly Loca's Vaudeville Cabaret', Lilly Loca!

Lilly Loca is 'Putting the Va-Va-Voom into Vaudeville'! A trained actress, dancer and singer, Lilly incorporates theatricality, frivolity and a pinch of cheek into each act. Her acts range from eupherial performance art to slapstick humour. She's an act you don't want to miss!
