Default "Sugar Blue"- The New Burlesque Show in Germany

    SUGAR BLUE – the Rock’n’Burlesque-Revue

    Concept and direction: Ralph Sun

Back to the rollin’ fifties – dive in, to the american way of life, when the most famous pin-up
starlet of all times, Betty Page, caused a sensation, when fearless artists with unbelievable
talents invented rock’n’roll and, when cheeky and tempting burlesque-dancers adored bubbly
rockabilly-grooves. Fasten your seatbelt – the journey begins: Baby let’s rock!
Following last years show “Miss Evi’s Company”, which was set in a wicked establishment in
the roaring twenties, the Lords of Comedy, Max Nix & Willi Widder Nix, go overseas. In
disguise as Toni Sugar & Willi Blue, they travel through time and explore the United States of
    America back in the fifties.
Being slaves to the rhythm, there is no way around Memphis, Tennessee, on the eastside of
the Mississippi, where the rock’n’roll was born. In the studios of Sun-Records, they meet
beside Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis, the band “Triple Espresso” – the seven hottest
guys, you will ever listen to!
Next stop is San Francisco on the westcoast. For all the hula-hoop there, they get all dizzy
and move on to Disneyland for a couple of milkshakes, served by Beatrix von Bourbon –
without alcohol, of course. Despite refreshment, they almost languish in Las Vegas seeing
Miss Valentine, first dressed in pink and purple, unveiling.
The Route 66 seems the right place to relax. But here, in the middle of nowhere, here she is
    – the aerial Cherry. Jump in our Chevy Pickup Deluxe and drive to Chicago, Baby! Bandits,
mafia, guns – let’s get out of here; let’s go to New York. The glamour of broadway is
dazzling, but Amber Ray tops even that! To end their journey, Sugar & Blue go to Coney
Island and find amongst the dodgy joints the world’s best juggler!
Ladies and gentleman, hold on! Max Nix & Willi Widder Nix are back and present this
fabulous cast to you. Welcome to the show – cheers!
