Thread: Hula hoop class in Birmingham

After all my searching I forgot to let people know I found a hula hoop class!

In the fitness room at Moseley School Health & Fitness Centre, Springfield Rd. B13 4NR
Thursdays 6.15-7.15
£4.50 per class (soon to become free if all goes to plan)



Its a really fun session and all about dancing! I usually come home with a few bruises and a new trick in the bag!

oooh that sounds interesting and not far from where i live either.

...does it matter if you cant even keep a hula hoop up around your waist..? im talking like 3 seconds here then its ankles time >_<

no it doesnt matter at all! everyone drops the hoop sometime!
once you see how its done you'll pick it up really easily and then you wont want to stop! I'm a complete hoop addict. Catherine brings loads of hoops along so you dont even need to have your own.

It really is alot of fun, I spent most of the last lesson lying on the floor laughing and flinging my hoop all over the place. (we were trying to spin the hoop around our feet, which I have just about mastered!!)

I'm trying to go regularly now, so maybe see you there. x

not the same that I mentioned here, but a lady I know is running a group on Wednesdays 6-7. I'm usually there and I will be covering a couple of classes in April.
