Hi all
I can absolutely recommend Bijoux Burlesque having trained with them myself since April this year, not only did we learn the simple techniques we've completed many complex dances and put together a wonderful show raising money for charity.
The teachers are all trained to a high standard and will teach the dances patiently, the classes start and beginners and you can work your way up.
Hope you find yourself some good lessons but as I say I can honestly highly recommend them.

I'm just going by the classes I attended in Birmingham half of which got canceled, and that issue was resolved.
I'm not bad mouthing them; it was fun just not what I was looking for.
I didn’t need help with body confidence I wanted help with performance.
Maggies burlesque class as suggested by Black Country Burlesque was more suited to me and I really got a lot out of it.
I now take ballet classes which are assisting my posture and movement.
It all depends what you are after.

Like Ariana I'm looking for classes in burlesque and showgirling around the birmingham area...would you not recommend Bijoux burlesque then? I do actually want to be taught proper technique so I dont want to sepnd my money on a course if its only for a bit of fun and not about becoming a better dancer
.
Did you ever find a course Ariana and Dahlia, you're from the Birmingham area...have you taken any other classes/courses other than the Bijoux course that you would recommend?
Thank youuuuu

if you want it for dance, then take a dance class
not a burlesque class.
sadly a lot of burlesque 'teachers' are not dance qualified.
i see that as an unfair blagging of positions, personally.
but dance classes. yes
look for those instead if you want to improve dancing
