    Default Courses/workshops/one-to-ones in East Yorkshire?

    Hi all,

I'm looking for some/any(!) form of burlesque tuition in East Yorkshire & wondered if anybody could point me in the direction of some hidden gems please? Something slightly more "advanced" perhaps, or that teaches more about characterisation, prop use, choreography etc rather than just basic movements.

I've completed burlesque workshops in Hull but found they focused only on the dance elements of burlesque, & I've also had some fabulous one-to-one training with Sharon Kay @ Burlesque Baby but with me being Yorkshire-based & Sharon being London-based I was unable to take it any further. I'd like to learn a little more about stage presence & putting acts together to help me "grow" (without intending to sound cheesy or over-confident!) as a new performer.

If anyone knows of any places or faces that could be of use please do get in touch, I'd be super grateful.

    Thank you!

    Hiya,
I know Violet Eyes does workshops from time to time, they're usually in Grimsby which may be a little too far but this is all I can think of at the moment.
I missed out last time so hopefully she'll be putting some more on soon!

I've heard wonderful things about Violet's classes but to benefit from the full course would cost a fortune in travel for me personally, boo. But you have just reminded me of the one-off pre-show workshops sometimes held before The Cat's Pyjamas, will keep my eyes peeled for another one of those & share if/when anything comes of it

    Thanks luvvie.
