Thread: Circus Skills??

Hey guys and gals! Does anyone know of anybody that hold circus skills classes in the north? I'd really like to incorporate something like this in my act and I'm happy to travel, but haven't found anyone as yet.

Or if someone has skills that they would be willing to share, I'm willing to pay! lol

What type of things are you looking to learn? I know of a few places in liverpool, there's ioisis that do silks, static trapeze n hoop, and i think theres a juggling/poi/etc meet up there too

The Circus Soc in Leeds hold circus skills workshops quite often for all abilities, you can go along even if you're not a student. Gimme a shout if you want any information and I'll link you up/put you in touch with the people that run it. There's also Circus Jam in Manchester who are very good. What are you wanting to learn?

Im mainly interested in hula hoop, fire skills, maybe juggling?!?

There is circus jam on a Friday at the dance house in Manchester. I think it might be free, too

I would be interested in travelling to Sheffield to do some of the silks and hoop workshops if you're interested, miss penny sweets.

I wont be in leeds till august though, but it would be cool to have a circus buddy!
