Thread: Looking for Burleque class in SW London. Also, anyone know Dr Sketchy??

Hi there,

I'm terribly new here and I'm interested in joining a Burlesque class in SW London, as I'm moving to Richmond/Wimbledon/Chiswick area very soon. Anyone know if there's one in the area?

Also, I'm a painter and am really fascinated by pin-up art (particularly Elvgren) and I've found out about the Dr Sketchy Anti-Art School in New York. I also know there's apparently a once-a-month Burlesque life drawing class in Camden every month. Last one was around Valentine's. Does anyone know when and where the next one is?

Hi,

I run a class @ Waterloo, which is a short train ride from Wimbledon.

The class ranges from old-fashioned movement and props to more modern striptease-type movement.

As it is in a gym the class concentrates on the movement rather than stripping, although I do work with stripping in private lessons.
