help needed for a newbie
So I've recently finished my burlesque classes and performed in my 1st live show. which was the best experience ever
but how do i get into performing more?
can anyone suggest any venues in the essex/london area that have newcomer nights or anything similar?
If anyone has any tips to help me get into performing id love to hear them

Keeping an eye on the performer castings on here is always a good idea, but the best way is to network.
Get yourself out to a load of shows, meet other performers and promoters. It might be slow going at first but once you build up some contacts, you will get to know more of the local nights that might have spots available or that you can audition for.
Also don't limit yourself to local shows only. You may have to pay your own expenses, and you may not get a fee, but sometimes it is worth that for the experience, etc.
