Dermablend is your best friend! It's fantastic! It's a really thick body foundation that will cover bruises, scars, marks, cuts, tattoo's etc really well! I've recently been introduced into it and it's fantastic. I bruise like a peach and it's great show-wise to cover all those horrible purple patches so they're not obvious in photo's. It's not stupidly expensive either, it's about £15 a bottle and they do it in different skin tones too so you have one to match. It's an american product. x
this is what you can get in most chemists on the nhs in some countys its the same thing different name x

Of course you should give it a go! Burlesque is a great way to learn to love yourself (certainly a main reason I'm doing it!) and it's a celebration of who you are as a person! Everything you are, everything you have been through and everything you will become is what makes you beautiful! I know it's hard to put aside the insecurities, but it is possible! GO FOR IT! <3

    Hi hun.

Yes yes yes you should perform! While they're not scars, I have a really fiendish skin condition that means I look like a pocket dragon (patchy, not green!) which was one of the main reasons I'd put off performing.
But in the end, I knew it wasn't going to go overnight, so I hid them in plain sight for my fairy routine by covering myself from head to toe in tiny star stickers (the kind teachers give out in little school)
The audience loved the fairy, not the hung-up specklething underneath. And knowing it was socially acceptable for people to want to see bits of me I usually kept under wraps was the kick up the bum I needed to do something about my skin.

Sorry if this is a bit waffley, I meanz well!
