Thread: New member :) wanting to learn the old style burlesque- recommendations please x

Hi,
Basically, I don't know a great deal about Burlesque but I do know it's facinating to watch. Love the old theatrical styles, less titty n more tease... And as that's all I know, I have no idea where to start!
Hope you girls can share some of your knowlege and experiences with little miss knows nothing xx

Hi Melody I see you are in Manchester. Do you know about the North West Burlesque Society in your city?

Going along to a meeting is a great way to meet other burlesque people and learn more about the scene. The three lovely ladies who run the Society are very welcoming. I think that would be a great place to start. At the meetings they often talk about upcoming classes and workshops and events and I'm sure you could be pointed in the direction you want
