    Default Trying to come up with the perfect Burlesque name and in need of help!

    Hello! My name is Jessica...I'm new to burlesque and in search of a name..Growing up with the surname Secmezsoy-Urquhart often led to having quite naughty nicknames at school.I'm not sure weither to use my name as inspiration or use a combination of my interests/personality..I'm quite weird/kooky,clumsy,I adore history and literature and I'm obsessed with cats...Does anyone have any ideas or advice for coming up with one?

    How about you come up with a selection of names and then get us to vote. If you don't like the result of the voting, you can ignore it. I believe they did something similar when they named the colour of the universe. Let me google that and get back to you.

    I love cats too and am looking for a name as well, there were many good sugestions but nothing sticking yet. how about a combination of part of your name and your love for cats, i came up with Kitty O'Hart i can try to think of more if you'd like. The closest name that people have suggested for me that i like was Lissa Darling but i was told that it is too similar to established performer Lydia Darling. I came up with Lissa De Milo, but haven't got any feedback on that yet. What do you think, and do you have any suggestions?

    My advice to newbies....stay away from Kitty, Cherry, Rouge, or any variations on these. There are tons of performers with these names and it will be harder for you to stand out as the new girl/guy. xx
