Getting started in London?
I don't have that much money, but i am really interested in having lessons in the London area, and buying corsets etc.
What are the best shops, and are there any classes for beginners?
Thanks!

Again, I recommend a quick search:
Ministry Of Burlesque - Search Results
Those ones above are for classes in London.
I bought my corset from Fairy Goth Mother in Camden. It was £155, and it is fantastic.
What Katie Did also do fantastic corsets for around £120. fully fashioned stockings, lingerie, girdles, corsets and bullet bras.
Just remember to take them off properley and treat them with care, and they should last for years!Snowflakes and Sparkles

I can highly recommend Burlesque Baby classes, lots of fun, great teacher and they're reasonably priced at £45 for four hour-long lessons

The first class was great fun, although I'm amazed at how difficult I found shimmying! I'm sure it'll come with time/practice though. The teacher (Indiana Belle) was showing us a shoulder/chest shimmy while shifting her weight from one foot to the other, but it was like 'patting your head and rubbing your tummy' for me - as soon as I lifted one foot off the floor it was completely impossible! I think I just need to concentrate less and go with the flow of the music... thinking 'sexy & cute' as I do so
