Hiya, just thought I'd post a wee hello.
Been lurking on the forum for a while and finally plucked up the courage to say hello!
I'm an aspiring burlesque dancer from Glasgow. Not had any real experience of yet except dancing in front of mirrors and friends
But shall be getting my bum along to a class when I have spare pennies. Also I'm dancing at Spangled Cabaret next month in the Rio Cafe I think (which I am very excited and terrified about!)

Welcome to the MoB! :wave:
Glad to see another recruit to the scene! :twothumbs:
Maybe you can answer a question;
What is it about Glasgow that seems to bring out the Burlesque in you ladies? :winkgrin:

Haha, I've no idea...I've lived near here all my life, only moved into the actual city a few months ago. And although I've been interested in the burlesque scene for years I never realised how big it is in Glasgow until recently =)

Well if you're not doing anything on 29th November, and want to get introduced to pretty much the entire Scottish contingent of the MoB, you should think about attending Missy Malone and Leyla Rose Burlesque Workshop. I think there's a thread about it in the Learning Burlesque forum.
Unfortunately I've got puppy-sitting duties, and the world is not ready to see a guy like me attempting any form of Burlesque routine, so I'm stuck in sunny Edinburgh! However, my better (?) half Lilly de Lure is attending, along with a veritable convoy from Edinburgh! :eyebrows:
Even if you can't afford the class, most of the participants are having a meet-up before hand, which, again I miss due to the pups. :wallbash:
(Sometimes Lilly really does get to have all the fun!!!
)
Hope this info is of some interest to you, if not then....
