I'd bite someone's arm off to work with Miss Rain again. Me and Fleur had such fun at the group shoot
I'm dashing out the door so this isn't a long post. I've hated having my photo taken for a very long time. Any live shots always came out awkward, and I was never happy. Even at our group shoot there was a mixture of shots I loved and a few I didn't (loved all yours Miss Rain, now worries there!) Then I did the shoot where all my main promo shots came from, the photographer made me feel really comfortable, I had someone there to do my make up (my skin is a big confidence killer of mine) and we were in no rush. It wasn't til then I realised its ok to take a ton of shots and only have a few you really like, and to always expect there to be some real shockers in there!
That said, I had my first paid shoot back in the summer and this knocked my confidence back a bit again. I was comfortable enough in the shoot itself (apart from smiling I still don't do that well) and I was confident I would like quite a lot of the shots but when they came back there were only a few and I didn't 'love' them. I think it was because the photographer didn't feel comfortable in telling me exactly what he wanted. It wasn't until afterwards I realised the make up wasn't heavy enough for the look we were going for (ended up looking quite natural which was ok in itself), and my hair was doing some weird things in a few photos which he could have easily pointed out to me (I can't see my own head!)
I think I need to jump back in there, not done anything for about 6 months now. I've been drooling over some shots of Morgana and Agent Lynch (not together, oh my! hubba hubba) and would love to recreate some of their style. I'm not performing as much lately as I'm back to studying so should get off my bum and find a free weekend or two

What about the red Groyne lighthouse on stilts at South Shields? You could hang off the stairs and/or stilts? And it looks fiery. Especially if you got a fiery sunset too......(ok that might be a bit much to ask for South Shields
)
And the White Swan Hotel in Alnwick has an absolutely fantastic fireplace that used to be in the Titanic's sister ship The Olympic in it's dining room....I'm sure you could persuade them if you wanted
Hang on, let me see if I can find a pic......yep, here you go, there's one on Flickr: The Fireplace on Flickr - Photo Sharing!
And whilst I'm there....here's the lighthouse, though I'm sure you know it:Groyne Lighthouse - South Shields on Flickr - Photo Sharing!The Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...

hmmm that doesn't sound fun .
maybe do something really relaxing that puts u in clam happy mind set like yoga 1st
i never had probs with photos but maybe bring someone to the shoot for comfort and to lean on when u feel that nerves hitting u have them just be silly play with u it will help with e smile too if u have an authentic laugh b/c ur best friend is beside the photographer
also practice will def help so maybe do shoots at home with ur friends just get used to being in front of the camera give ur self some kinda reward for getting thru a real shoot alright just try and teach ur self its good
but def play with doing shoots with ur friends it will make u feel more natural when ur not with ur friends on a real shoot
best of luck honey
