    Talking Name rules ???

i was curious if there was a set of naming rules or protocol or even like little thins that makes names more suitable for a burlesque name

i take most screen names from songs i have written but i am pretty sure screen names r different from stage names

so i was wondering u could give me any rules that make a name more burlesque

i think i may have thought of one

i am toying with the idea of anything with allure b/c allure and insanity is kinda a standard for me twisted glory sequins and sexdreams chained lover i dont really feel like these fit the bill more screen name value

Mind u i like allure and insanity alots its my like online name for the past year or so ... but i also been thinking like my name is sheila and my friends used to call me Lala and She la la la stuff like that so i was thinking tie in the lala or allure

so please do tell me rules or tips ... even stab at helping me out wit h names u think fits that can get my mind moving:excited:

I don't think there are any real "rules" most of the girls I know take something personal to them and twist it.
For example my name, I have always loved the legend of lillith so I used that and then centfranc came from my husband. When he was in HS he was a foreign exchange student in Belgium and they would yell "cent franc" at cheap hookers which was about 3 US dollars. I found that hysterically funny so I added it.

I guess it all is about what you are going for. In our troupe we kind of like the funny stuff +++.

Sheil A'Llure? It's got your name, Allure, and it sounds like 'she'l allure'... which i'm sure you will I'm not too good with names, my name on here is just because my real name is Alice, and I'm usually in a land of my own.... x x x

Try the FAQ on choosing names:

and use the search function for lots of threads on this subject and that of identity etc.
