Hello there,
I'm new to the forum and burlesque. I've been interested for a while have finally plucked up courage to book a couple of beginners workshops for the weekend :excited:
Am really looking forward to it but beginning to get a few nerves now as well as have no dancing experience or natural grace. Not completely sure what to expect but have been practicing trying to get my tassels twirling in my bedroom (can only do by bouncing up and down so far)!

Don't worry, I'm sure after your workshops you'll only be even more hooked than you are now!

Welcome to MoB - and best of luck for the workshops - I went to my first one recently and loved it - keep relaxed, have fun and just enjoy yourself - that's my main piece of advice :twothumbs:

Welcome to MoB Peach and Lexus. But be warned........this site is deliciously addictive.
You will both really enjoy your workshops and will be strutting around like professionals in no time at all. A good place to start, in the comfort of your own home, is the 'Burlesque for Beginners' DVD from MoB which you can buy on this very site. I can vouch for it too!!!!

Thanks everyone!
The workshop was so much fun. Soon stopped feeling selfconcious and managed not to fall on my head or anything.

Cheers Pixie. Couldn't wait for the class so ordered a dvd too! My copy arrived in the week and I've watched a few bits but not had a chance to have a go at the routines yet. Looks good though. Not sure it will be quite as much fun by myself but will be able to go at my own slowish pace
Hope eveyone is having a lovely weekend.
