Whats In A Name?
Bonjour mes amis,
Okay so I have booked myself some more classes for the new year and have been thinking about a Burlesque name. I'd like to keep the Lady Lena bit as thats been my nickname for the past 10 years but I want to add something else to it. I've tried to think of some clever pun but cant
lol. I have had a couple of ideas which I am thinking of and am a bit shy about saying but I shall put them here as I am trusting no one will say 'OMG thats a crappy name'!
Lady Lena Danger - I'm not sure if its to rhyme-y, reasoning behind this is Lady Danger is the shade of MAC lipstick I use
).
Lady Lena Von Doom - Reasoning behind this is being a big comic book geek (Count Victor Von Doom and also HellBoy's right hand of Doom).
So those are my tentative suggestions, please be kind and helpfull. :genius:
Merci

Lady Lena Danger could be a bit of a mouthful. But that might just be me!
I love Lady Lena von Doom! I don't know if it looks a bit long written down- how about Ladilena von Doom? Exactly the same, just more compact.Snowflakes and Sparkles

Thanks for the input guys. Hmm I want to keep the Lady bit if possible because thats kind of who I am maybe I could put the Von Doom bit together so its all one word? As in Lady Lena VonDoom? Or is that still too wordy? I quite like it

i like it ... i can imagine how some compares would announce it and it sounds good especially if you are a little on the dark side of life in your routeen or playing on the fact that your dangerous to toughs that touch and so are their doom... a little gothy/comic book villan into the mix and it should work a treat.

In my opinion you should take a good look at your act and see if you can make some sort of connection between it and your stage name. Or find a word that is really sexy to you and find a forgein language that you like and then translate the word and see if it works.
Just my humble opinion. good luck!!!
