Workshop in Ayrshire?
Hi everyone, so nice to meet you all.
I'm sooooo excited to have finally decided on a name and started my burlesque adventure. Cannot wait to start learning and performing! I have heard rumours about a workshop in Ayrshire but can't find any info about it. Does anyone know anything about this?
xx

You are way too far north of the border from the South Coast of England, which is my abode, to be able to answer your question.
But a BIG burlesque welcome to MOB. xx
Look forward to seeing your postings on these pages.

Thanks so much for the welcome, that's really nice. I'm still getting used to this site, don't really know my way around yet but it's all very interesting. Can't wait to get started properly. xx:excited:

Welcome to the MoB!
The only Ayrshire lass that I know might have an answer for you is Kittie Noir. I'm sure she wouldn't mind you sending her a PM to find out the lay of the Ayrshire land, as it were.... :eyebrows:

hey, i've only just noticed this thread  i haven't heard about classes in ayrshire but then again i've had my head in cloud cukoo land for the last few weeks lol!
i've tried google but not had much luck although i have found out that a casino in ayr applied to have a licence for pole dancers and burlesque dancers but it was refused (why am i not suprised
) because the council has to await guidance from the scottish government on adult entertainment oo err!

No workshop in Ayrshire!
Hi Kittie,
Thanks for trying. I've almost given up. :wallbash:A friend of mine said she heard about it on West Sound but has heard nothing since. I checked their website and even called them but nothing. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait for a Glasgow one. Shame cos it would have been so handy. xx

Have noticed there's a fan dance workshop next week in Glasgow but it sounds like it's for people more experienced than me so think I'll give that one a miss. Definitely need the one for beginners I think. xx
