Newbie classes in Carlisle/Dumfries?
Hello everyone!
I love the art of burlesque and would love to learn how to do it. Can anyone help me and let me know if there are classes in either Carlisle or Langholm where i can start learning?
Thank you! :help:WARNINGWarning: This is an Old Thread

Hi Fiona
Do speak to Gypsy Charms and the MoB Academy for advice on taking lessons - she's on hand to help!
We also have a DVD that means you can even take your first steps at home with professional instruction straight from your TV!
Check it out here:

Yes the dvd is a good place to get a taster and see if you'd like to carry on learning, but you can't beat a real live teacher in front of you from whom you can ask questions and get advice. I've had a lots of emails from you lovely ladies, thanks very much for the interest, I will get back to you all with finalised details as soon as I can. Just to emphasise, the classes will be for beginners, will be very gentle and go at the pace that everyone can cope with, and will just start with the basic of striptease, however we will also learn a bit about the history and origins of burlesque as I think this is important to understand what you're doing and why.
