    Hey Anjel! Welcome

I would say first of all, get yourself some professional pics done with you in your outfit(s), set up a myspace, seek out some nights in your area, and send them a message describing your act. You will probably have better luck with the less established/lesser known nights at first. Also look out for 'amateur' nights, that's how I got into it.

Good luck and let me know how you get on!

I could not possible guess what goes on around your way, but around these parts, the classes that are ongoing frequently organise debut nights. These are essentially by invitation only so there is a great atmosphere and "friendly" crowd. After this, things have a tendency to grow. We went to such a night a few months back and the BBC were there along with organisers from a few Burly clubs.

    Good luck.
