Thread: Newbie

hey everyone ive recently decided that i want to make a complete lifestyle/image change and adopt a look ive been very envious of for a long time but always been too shy to contemplate. this site seems to come up alot in the searches ive made so i thought id give it a go and hopefully meet some like-minded individuals

if there's any groups in the nottingham/derby area that meet regularly to discuss all that is burlesque id be really interested in coming along or indeed if there are any individuals who have already adopted this style and could give me some tips on what to/what not to wear, makeup, hair etc that'd be great too!

im hoping that what is to come will be one hell of an adventure and one that has been worth waitng for

There are no regular groups, but there are a few of us planning to meet up in Nottingham later on in the month (I think it's the 15th). There is a thread about it somewhere in the forum ... if you use the search function and look up 'Nottingham meet' you'll find it. You'd be welcome to come along ^_^
