Thanks! It sort of sums up burlesque really.. pasties fallen off? Tripped over your high heels? Well just carry on regardless! Well, my debut act was like that, my scarf fell off my head and I fell down a gap which had appeared in the stage...
I love your Louise Brooks quote! I may one day use that on a guy...

I love all the little anecdotes that end up on here - really interesting...
Mine is my middle name - Alana and also I thought an A would be good because you'd always be near the top of any alphabetical list, and royale... I don't know! I guess it helps me to be a bit more ladylike!
I get a really nice feeling on here though when someone addresses you by your alias name, like it's a bit exciting to have a double persona!" You know Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore"

I'm not a burlesque dancer, but I want to be and I adore it so much!
I was doing one of those question meme's on facebook, the ones that ask all those random questions about what you are doing, etc, and the first one was "What is your name?" and It kinda just came to me "Cherry La Pearl" so ever since then that is my name! I thought about it lter and decided that that is kinda perfect for me because I love everything red and I love everything Cherry flavoured and also My cheeks have a tendancy to go cherry red a lot, so it fits! (though I messed up and did not put it on here because I was in a hurry and wasn't thinking). But yeah I don't think anyone has that name. I did the same thing with the googling it and all i found was coco La Pearl so i figured I was safe.
Good luck in finding a name!

My name chose me! I was working at the Burlesque Ball in Brisbane in March and I jumped up on stage to join in a fandance competition. I was announced as "THE MERCH GIRL!!!" (which everyone had been calling me for ages) and it stuck!
it's the name of my upcoming business too

Don't worry about changing it either. It's not a tattoo! I started off as something completely different and am thinking about changing again after a speight of Mitzis cropped up, even though it was my nickname because I worked in germany for a while.
Haven't been on here for a while... ooh hasn't it grown?!
