Thread: Buying Domain Name

Together with a few tech geeks (I love you, guys!) I have now created a bit of a website, but the host is obviously a bit of an ugly thing (Marilyn Minsky - Watch Out Burlesque, Minsky Is Back!). I now want to buy the domain name at godaddy.com, but I have no idea how to make it do the following...if somebody types in marilynminsky.com...they should be directed to marilynmisnky.110mb.com)

Firstly I'd suggest something other than GoDaddy, they're overpriced :P try something like namecheap, they're pretty good.

Secondly: you have a few options:

1. There'll be a setting in the domain name registar that'll let you do this - normally I get domains and hosting so I'm not sure how to do it when you just have a domain name
2. There'll be a setting in 100mb that lets you do it - most other site hosts let you do this too
3. You can add a bit of code to your site, though that does look a bit oldish
