I know there must be plenty of these post's so I apologise - but I'm desperate! Are there any classes in Leeds?! I know there are plenty of events but I would very much like to give it a go! Also on idea's for burlesque routines is anyone aware of anyone who does a disappearing clothes act?!
I'm a newbie to this (I joines about half an hour ago!) so any comments would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there Cyanide,
Not sure re the act but yes there certainly are burlesque classes in Leeds taught by Bella Besame. Dalia Hawley (Cecilia Rouge on here) is the lady you need to speak to. If you join the group 'I want to do a burlesque class in Leeds please' on Facebook she will help! Have fun Jubilee xx

Hi!
Yes I do workshops in Leeds that are taught by Bella Besame! There is info here burlesque leeds and we are starting classes in the next few weeks. Do email me or join the fb group and I can add you to my mailing list.
In terms of acts, its really good that you are starting to work on ideas now and look about, thats so important! I do know that Anna Fur Laxis is working on a disapearing clothes act at present so if you are thinking of putting something together it might be worth just checking out what she is working on. Many performers will be fine if you contact them and explain youve had a simular idea or act and you just want to check in with them to make sure there are no clashes. xxx

Where can I buy a head dress base?
They look good! I wonder if they're made from millinery wire?
