Thread: Amateur Burlesque Acts Wanted!

Hey guys, hoping some people can help me out! I have recently been asked to run an amateur Burlesque/variety night in London, at the Cavendish Arm's in Stockwell. A lot of very respected performers have graced this stage (including Chrys Columbine) and Elysian Nights also hold events here.
Ok to the point - I'm running this night as an opportunity for beginners/amateurs to perform to an appreciative non-judging audience. A good way of getting used/rid of stage nerves and to hopefully make a name for yourself! (Though not strictly for beginners - if you have a new routine you want to test out i'd love to hear from you).
I'm afraid I can't offer any sort of pay, as this is the first time I have ever done anything like this (far more used to performing than organising) and I don't know what, if any funds will be raised from this. Although if there are, I am more than willing to share what there is!
The first night of (if all goes well) many will be held on 1st April - I appreciate this isn't much notice so really hoping some of you lovely people can help me out.

Are you just looking for performers for the 1st of April, or for future nights as well? Unfortunately I have plans for then already, but I'd be interested in getting involved if you have later dates available!

If all goes well, there will hopefully/should be other nights. It's sort of balancing on how this one goes but I am very determined haha! I will definitely keep you in mind if there are other ones, and will keep you up to date so that you know!
