Night of Venus
" A night where the very best of the fetish world and alternative scene collide"
On Saturday the 25th of September, the best alternative and fetish clubs from the London scene will be joining forces on the same night to give birth to a new event - The Night of Venus.
This brand new event is the brainchild of Franco Carta aka Dionisus. Having spent years organizing live gigs, bands and club nights, Dionisus has put together his vision of alternative clubbing which we expect will become an annual event on the London calendar.
This fabulous new party night will be held at The Den, 18 West Central Street WC1A 1JJ, a short walk from Tottenham Court Rd or Holborn Tube Stations and served by many bus routes into Central London.
Right in the heart of London's West End, this awesome venue was formerly known as “The End” and belonged to clubbing and dance music guru Mr C from the Shamen.
Closed in 2009 when Mr C moved to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career, the club has now re-opened it's doors under new management and is once again hosting some of London's hottest and most successful club nights.
With a capacity of 900 people and the club's legendary sound system remaining unchanged, except for a few tweaks here and there, you can expect that same electrifying atmosphere which made it what it was – World famous! The layout is amazing with an updated lighting rig and state of the art lasers. With Banksy styled urban graffiti artwork installations in the main Den and the Den lounge it is a very cool urban dance venue.
Night of Venus is being held the weekend before the London Fetish Weekend, so this night is an ideal opportunity for you to unleash your deepest desires and fantasies a little early and warm up for the following weekend's festivities.
Doors open at 10pm until 6am. On the decks, making you dance in the dirtiest of ways, we will have David TG from Torture Garden, Jo The Waiter from Antichrist, Dirty DJ's Marky Moo and Simon Iridium from the Skin Two Rubber Ball and Club Subversion, DJ Angel from Glamorama, Powertrip and Inferno, Caroline Vain from Inferno and Full Tilt and Paladin from Synthetic Culture.
Live on stage you will be able to watch with wonder and amazement, an erotic aerial performance from the acclaimed Empress Stah, twisted cabaret from Sybhan, extreme bloody performance from Sex0r and a wonderful burlesque act from Princess Angelique with a great burlesque cabaret
If play is more your thing, for your delight there will also be a playroom and a massive dungeon to unleash your fantasies in with monitors present for your peace of mind.
