I am often asked where I get the inspiration for my acts, especially the more whimsical ones and, I always answer honestly. I may have been to a gallery and seen a painting that sparked my imagination or listened to music that inspied me to move in a certain way, sometimes I dream my acts, as a whole or in part and, thats when I know I've made a keeper!

As performer of many years now, I know how hard it can be to keep working in this industry and, how much dedication it takes to produce good acts and then to find bookings for those acts. I know also, that its not always luxury dressing rooms and refreshments either. I've had a few bookings that required I get changed in my car or the beer cellar of a club, but I take this in my stride. I am always pleased to be working. In my eyes, Burlesque is an art, a craft that is learned, polished and constantly evolving. An art that showcases talent of all kinds and brings people together who all share an interest in the same thing. I love this about Burlesque, I love the diversity and the sense of a worldwide community that allows performers to travel and unites us all through a common passion.
