I was born in a small and active city in Emilia Romagna, in a garden-variety family from separated parents. My mother is a freelancer expert in nutrition, who’s created her own business, while my father has been a vinyl collector since he was 17 and has dedicated all his energy to music as a DJ, critic and opinion leader.
After a long time trying to dissociate and emancipate myself from my family, it is only now, that I realise how much I have in common with them: a very strong entrepreneurial mindset and a heartfelt passion for Art.

As a child, I showed talent for acting and singing.
I regularly attended piano classes and later on I started pursuing my love for Dancing, moving from Classical to Jazz, to Contemporary Dance throughout nearly nine years of studies. During High School, I developed a strong passion for Amateur Theatre, studying with Maria Antonietta Centoducati and Gianni Binelli, both actors and directors specialised in Improvisational Theatre. After High School, I acquired sound engineering skills and after a few years of research, I stumbled across the so-called “alternative” underground scene.

Emilia Romagna has a strong Dark soul: we’re enshrouded by fog for almost all winter and the flatlands are often a melancholic landscape, dull and grey, a perfect stage for damp evenings and bittersweet sunsets. However, it is also very rich and enjoyable: excellent food and wine, dancing tradition, good looking girls and festive spirit are only but a few characteristics that fully make Emilia Romagna the traditionally known italic location: sunny and lively.
I’m very much like my parents and very much like the place where I was born. I’m two-sided: gloomy and introspective but also enthusiastic and passionate. I live every moment of my life intensely, either good or bad, always all the way, as for Music, which I deeply love.

Needless to say, once I entered the “other world“, as I like to call it, I knew I would never be able to come back. BDSM, Fetish, research for deep experimentation with and within the body became basic and undeniable elements for me and my troubled spirit, that had finally found some answers. Melancholy coated music from the 80’s and New Wave gently plucked my string-like innermost sensitiveness.
The Cure, The Chameleons, early U2, just to name a few and, without going too far, in Italy, the early Litfiba, the Neon, The Diaframma. I found out that there existed, especially here in Emilia, a detailed subculture that still nurtured those sounds and lazily followed their evolution. I couldn’t help but being fascinated by it. Soon after I started following my dad’s footsteps, as if I were given an imaginary baton, and I started my DJ Selector career playing in some of the most important alternative club nights, such as Decadence (Bologna), Grotesque (Modena), up to being well-acquainted in the scene, that got me behind the console at the Ritual (Rome).

Around that time, I started developing a new form of expression, that brought back my old passion for the stage. I discovered different forms of “mise en scène”: very short and straightforward shows that display a specific discipline or Art performance, practically ignored, capable of speaking about the body as well as the soul that dwells within it. During a “performance”, the actors are the discipline connoisseurs who both illustrate and live the performance in front of the spectators, who are very often enthusiasts of this art. KinBaku, Shibari, S/M, come alive as a story unveils on skin and muscles, with breath and imagination. These shows are where I put to practice my notions of interpreting ,mimicry, dancing and acting.
I soon realised that Italy at the time had only just started knowing about this form of expression.
