In a nutshell I shoot people for a living, everything else for pleasure.
I absolutely love photographing people. So much in fact that a few years ago I gave up a 25 year career in IT to work as a professional photographer and have never looked back since. It's not really a job though. It's far too much fun for that.
I'm always on the look out for performers to work with so if you're interested in putting a shoot together, let me know.

Yesterday saw the launch of perhaps my biggest photography project todate. The official launch of the Help for Heroes Calendar Girls project. The theme is simple. It's a vintage military pinup calendar to raise money for the charity.
I'll have to admit I was a little sceptical at first but the girls, all former wrens, are really dedicated to this and I couldn't believe the amount of support we're getting. I'm not going to say too much about it just now as plans are still evolving
2011 was an amazing year. My feet hardly touched the ground and I have callouses on my shutter finger from all the images I made. But it was definitely worth it.
Hope you like the video. Not much burlesque in there but I want ot change that this year, hint, hint.
I have a 4-hour slot available in my London studio available for this Friday. My original client has had to postpone so I can offer a discounted rate if anyone is interested?
Ths studio is in North London and is a working, professional fashion studio. A lot of magazines, designers and musicians shoot there throughout the year. It's the same place where the image in my previous post was made, to give you an example of what can be achieved.
Had a really great shoot with Sparkles on Saturday. The theme was Cheesecake Military Pinup and drew inspiration from the works of Gil Elvgren. Just going through and editing the shots now and will probably post a few here once she's made (and received) her final selections.
Round 2 on Friday when I have Fleur de Guerre in the studio for yet more vintage pinup.
