- Biography:
- Diamond & StarLust is the collective name for cabaret duo,
Dandy Von Diamond and Twiggy StarLust.
Dandy Von Diamond, having wasted an education and squandered a fortune finds himself reduced to treading the boards for one last stab at fame and fortune…or at least a free glass of Absinthe. Twiggy StarLust, a London boy of questionable morals, took to the stage to further entertain his wealthy gentleman friends. With his heart set on limelight and stardom, there is very little that Twiggy wont do to achieve his dreams.
Between extravagant parties, opium and trips to Windmill Lane, Dandy and Twiggy develop their cabaret acts. This means that a few times each month they sober up and flaunt themselves to a rowdy audience. Dandy and Twiggy perform acts that reflect their dark sense of humour and aesthetic tastes. They perform using their combined skills; Twiggy’s charming Cockney sparrow vocals and Dandy’s acting talents, to portray anything from arch villain to blushing bride.
Other chances to catch Diamond & StarLust occur every first Saturday of the month when Dandy takes control of the gramophone at Dark Side Of The Lune, Lancaster’s premier Gothic musical evening. Twiggy can be seen as a solo burlesque artist, or occasionally posing for the more discerning photographer. Diamond & StarLust are also 'resident performers' at The Knitting & Crochet Club, Stockport.

Summer Holiday :)

I almost don't dare say it, but I've really enjoyed having a couple of weeks away from the stage. Dandy Von Diamond and I have been almost like a proper, normal coulpe. We have painted the yard, argued about the decorating, been on a day trip. In fact, we've been so normal, we could model for knitwear catalogues!
However, a couple of weeks off performing has given me proper thinking and evaluation time for the stage work that we do. We have a couple of big shows coming up to get

I've been neglecting to blog! I am a very naughty boy, tie me to a chair and spank me... although be aware that I charge extra for that sort of thing!
I've been busy, singing, sewing and practicing stuff, inbetween my work of course. I'll be making a show of myself in Blackpool on Saturday, and I'm hoping to fit in a sneaky naughty photoshoot on sunday and get some raunchy pictures up onto the website! www.diamondandstarlust.weebly.com

This weekend I am doing nothing. What has happened to the world? Where are all the eligable, confirmed bacholors lining up to wine me, dine me and 69 me? :-(
However, next weekend I'll be entertaining the crowds in the sunny seaside resort of Blackpool. (Kiss Me Quick, fellas!!) And the following weekend I am singing wearing a pair of ladies suspenders at an event on the friday night, then strutting around in my swimwear at another on Saturday.

I've decided to write a blog. 'Course I didn't really know what a blog was, but I'm told it's like a diary, but a diary what everyone can read, which is, of course, the best sort of diary.
