Exciting? Hmm.... Well I'm pretty excited about Pirates in Petticoats this Friday. I get to do my new love boat act to open the show, and then sit back and relax for the rest of the evening and watch Flixx's boylesque debut!

I've just set up a Comperes UK group (and took the liberty of inviting you - hope you don't mind!). I love the idea of getting a conversation started and a wee community going.

And I'll definitely take you up on that coffee if you make it down here for your grown-up work. Unfortunately (or amazingly?) my grown-up work is about to send me on an eleven-week world tour of training, so hopefully our paths don't wildly miss each other. First, if you're not also Equador Zaha, magician and boylesque, then you two need to meet because the resemblence (at least in your four photos!) is UNCANNY.

Second, I'm a newbie compere (lots of theatre and improv experience, but several years off the stage and nerw to cabaret as a whole) and would love the chance to pick your brain. I'm Canadian, so not entirely strong at British geography yet - how far are you from London?
