Thread: Getting in idea of best location - north west

a friend of mine is a professional make up artist and is due to get her teaching qualification soon. she has decided to run burlesque make up courses in the north west accross a couple of different locations and i was wondering which part of the north west people would prefer them to be in

if taking this course would interest you could you just pop the name of your nearest towns/cities you would be willing to travel to to take the course (it would be a couple of hours in an evening, one lesson, not a regular thing) and we can then look at approaching a few places in the most popular areas to see if they will let us have the space

If I lived up there I'd snap it up, even if it was just for fun! Shame I'm all the way down in London, but good luck to your friend, I'm sure people will come through eventually! What about getting her to do some burlesque/pin up make up on you and then posting some pics so people can see the quality of her work? Just an idea that might help!

I'll pm you when I get back from my breakfast meeting. I would be interested in exploring the possibilities of this (although not for myself, I hasten to add).

Also, you might find you get a better response to this kind of stuff if you make the title more relevant.

'Getting An Idea For Best Location...' doesn't really give any inclination that this thread is about make-up workshops.

This goes for everyone. Good thread titles equates to more views and better response rates.

I agree with James, I stumbled on this by chance. There is a bit of a market for this kind of thing, mainly with newbees and burlesque fans
