The Cheshire Go-Cats are really excited to introduce a Rockabilly meetup in this area. If you're into any aspect of the Kustom Kulture scene then you've come to the right place. Whether you're a Greaser, Rocker, Psycho, Pin-Up, Burlesque Lady or Gent, Vintage Petrol Head, Vintage/Retro Enthusiast and your based in Cheshire this is possibly a community for you.

Our aim is to organize meetings and events so it's easier to find shows, music, photo shoots, pubs, bands, shops, and anything else that compliments our lifestyles and interests. Most importantly these meetings will enable us to meet like-minded individuals & make friends who can discuss & share advice, knowledge & their own experiences etc.

The wheels of progress are in motion - in November we will hold our first show to raise funds for the group. Expect to see some workshops next year. So far we're collaborating with a professional dancer/teacher to bring Swing dancing to this part of Cheshire. Another member, who's into fashion design, would like to teach sewing vintage garments. I'm a professional baker/pastry artist, so I'll be teaching baking/cake decorating. We're also looking into buying a vintage club vehicle to work on. Grease Lightening, haha!

Regular meetings in the Frodsham/Helsby area will follow the event in November. These meetings are open to anyone who fancies getting involved. I'll keep you informed on this forum. Again, I hope to see some of you lovelies!
