Thread: Burlesque nights in Northern Ireland

Hi all

is there anything out there happening in northern Ireland, as it all seems very quiet at the minute, I am a newbie who dances in Belfast in a troupe/class and there are a few of us who want to get out there and perform.

Hello, the Babycakes are performing in The Black Box in Belfast tomorrow night as part of the celebrations for Gay Pride (Thursday), we are doing six acts for Ladies Night, there is also a band playing. We also have a few other gigs planned and we are negotiating a few regular spots but I've not heard of any purely burlesque nights but if I do I'll post again, it would be great if some of the schools could get together for a showcase night.

thanks for your reply, I agree it would be great to get showcase nights going as it seems very hard to get yourself known and I really want to perform more. if you hear of anythng or are ever looking for dancers give me a shout.
