Thread: making more burly friends

I would like to introduce myself, iam Sara 27 and ive loved burlesque for years. I do perform onstage and i am hoping to make more contacts/ friends in the northwest/ north wales area. I live in Wrexham near Chester.

My interests are fashion, arts and crafts, painting, drawing, retro style, shabby chic, photo shoots, make up, beauty, holistic therapy and pole dancing :-)

Hi Sara, Do you know about the North West Burlesque Society? that's a great place to pick up burlesque tips and make new friends? they meet once a month in Manchester and are a lovely friendly group :0) x

I'm based on Anglesey and have recently co-founded a local vintage group which is probably going to be basing most of the meet-ups in the Bangor area. It's all very small and informal at the moment but you're more than welcome to join us.

I personally am into several of the things you've mentioned, and I'm not alone in the group

Essentially, it was founded in the desperate hope of creating something in north west Wales.

Otherwise, I think going the other way, towards Chester and Liverpool may be more fruitful.
