'Download' meet-up
By reading the Faith No More thread I believe that there will be quite a few MoBsters heading to Castle Donnington in June for the Download festival.
Although I'm not going to it myself I thought it would be a great opportunity to have a get together as it is very close to where I live and it's a chance to meet non-local MoBsters - woohoo!!!!
Please post if you are going to Download and would be interested in meeting-up (please say yes!!!) and we can sort out more details nearer the time.

Aaw I do every year but this time my 21st falls over it so I'm spending the weekend in Whitstable. I think I told you this when we passed Donington.
Next year I would love to though :yes:Snowflakes and Sparkles

I didn't know Slipknot were there. They are like sand in my fingers. I went to Download in 2005 but only had a day ticket so couldn't see them then, then I went to Reading last year and they pulled out

I hate day tickets anyway, I always get depressed that I can't stay the whole weekend.
EDIT: Oh God, Ophelia, you had to make me go and look at the line up. Now I really want to go
Also, how do you know they're not doing day tickets? They don't usually release the day ones until later.Snowflakes and Sparkles

Hey, I'm giving download a miss this year (holidays and things to pay for) but I'd be really interested in a local meet, me being a total newbie it would be really good to chat to people about their experiences so far. So count me in if you don't mind

Checked out the line-up and wouldn't mind seeing Prodigy, Pendulum and ZZ Top but it's sooooo expensive. £135 for weekend for me, £10 parking, £75 x 2 for twins. Can't afford it....boooo!!!

Prices certainly seem to have soared over the years, I think I only paid just over £100 when I did the first weekender. Will be interesting to see what numbers are like this year amid the old credit crunch!

Bought my tickets today!! I'd be up for some kinda meet either at the festival or nearby....but would need to be viable as i know my other half will come out with a string of obscenities if i ask him to drive me anywhere are the inevitable nightmare parking!! xx
